Once a Dragon, Always a Dragon
From front cover features to treading the boards, racing across Sri Lanka to narrating audiobooks, this term’s OD updates range from 1944 to 2015.

Peta Dixon (OD 2014)
Congratulations to Peta was recently made the youngest ever appointee to the board of directors for the Haemophilia Society
“I’m looking forward to continuing to raise awareness about bleeding disorders and sports, while supporting those newly diagnosed who might be nervous about what the future holds.”
Angus Atkinson (OD 2012) and Lachie Douglas Ferguson (OD 2012)
Congratuations to Angus and Lachie who have raised over double their original fundraising target for their Carlie’s Crossing challenge.
Racing across Sri Lanka in tuk-tuks, 61 drivers navigated dense jungles, secluded off-road tracs, ancient ruins and remote villages. Starting in Anuradhapura and finishing in Weligama, drivers raced between checkpoints, times recorded and accumulated daily.
The race was run in memory of Carlie Tufnell (OD 2012), in honour of his life and memory, and as a tribute to everyone lost to depression.
Angus, Lachie and team aimed to raise £35,000, however, to date, funds raised stand at an incredible £75,000.
“This race was a celebration of life, friendship, and the enduring bond we share with those we love, even after they are gone. Whether you donate, share our mission, or support mental health in your community, you’re making a difference.”
Funds raised will be split equally between The Carlie Tufnell Charitable Trust and The TEA Project.

We can’t wait to hear it!
In the meantime, you can find Sebastian on your TV screens as the ‘not-so-lovely’ Silvio Salucci in the BBC’s Dope Girls, where, at the end of World War One, a newly empowered generation of women turn to the illicit and intoxicating world of underground Soho nightclubs.

Max Hembrow (OD 2008)

Lady Antonia Fraser (OD 1944)
Our oldest publishing OD has released her latest title, Patchwork Pieces.
A magical collection of vignettes from the pen of Antonia Fraser.
“When I was a teenager I had a passion for patchwork. I liked the patterns, but even more than that I liked the action of creating the patchwork. There was something about pulling A to pieces, in order to create B, which I found infinitely satisfying. In a sense, this book satisfies that Passion for Patchwork. There is no particular order to the various pieces, and yet I hope that all together they make up a colourful picture of the history that I love, have loved and will always love.”
You can find our OD online bookshelf here, showcasing the latest books by Old Dragons.
Chris Born (OD 1965)
Congratulations to Chris who was recently treading the boards of the Theatre Royal Bath performing in the Bath Operatic and Dramatic Society’s production of Oklahoma!
