The Dragon has proudly been at the forefront of prep school education in the UK since it was founded in 1877. The school remains true to the educational ethos of the first Head, Skipper Lynam, whilst preparing young Dragons to be global citizens of the 21st century. The values of Kindness, Courage and Respect are instilled into all Dragons.
The Dragon’s aim:
To inspire, encourage and develop free-thinking, confident young people who reach for the sun.

Join us for our Saturday Dragon Quest: a thrilling enrichment programme where children learn new skills and try out new things. Some of the activities have direct academic benefits; others are focused on building friendships and life skills.
