WELCOME
OLD DRAGONS

Welcome to your incredible Dragon alumni network. Your life-long membership begins here, and you’re in brilliant company.

Our Dragons have gone into an extraordinary array of professions, from entrepreneurs to explorers, lawyers to professors, actors to app developers, accountants to surgeons, academics to activists (the list goes on!). Not only do you now have access to some brilliant minds you, yourself, are one of them, and we can’t wait to see where your Dragon wings take you.

Even when you’ve gone through those Bardwell Road gates for the final time, you remain a Dragon for life, and we love an excuse to celebrate our ever-growing, diverse, and talented community, as you embrace your potential and soar to new heights! From senior school achievements through to career next steps, family news and all your big adventures, your journey beyond the Dragon is just as important to us as your days at school, so let’s stay connected. Tell us what you’ve been up to; we’d love to hear your story and celebrate your successes, big or small.

Every year, you will receive your community magazine and a termly e-newsletter to keep you connected to your fellow Dragons, not to mention invitations to Dragon events. From regular year group reunions at Bardwell Road to events in London, New York, Hong Kong and beyond, your connection to the Dragon lives long after your days spent playing eggy and devouring Bun Breaks.

Did you know?

Former pupils of the Dragon are called Old Dragons (OD). When you leave the school, they are welcomed immediately into a network of thousands of former pupils. Up until the age of 18 they’re considered a Junior Old Dragon, before becoming an Old Dragon from the age of 18 onwards.

There’s a whole team of us that would love to hear it. Imelia Taylor (OD 2012) manages our alumni relations and is just at the end of an email. If you’d like to be reconnected with a fellow OD, have a suggestion about how we can improve your OD experience, a venue you’d like us to use for a future event or simply just want to say hello, get in touch!
