We are delighted to have hosted Hero Brown, from the Muddy Stilettos Best Schools Guide, for a recent visit to see us in Oxford. She met with the Head and visited a couple of our boarding houses so that she could update the Muddy review of the Dragon. You can read this in full here.
Founded in 2014, the guide is renowned for its informal, unique and honest reviews, offering expert opinion from locally-based, experienced editors. They are now launching the Muddy Stilettos’ School Awards 2022 and we are delighted that Emma Goldsmith has been invited to be one of the judges.
Here is an extract from the launch release:
In its inaugural year, the Muddy Stilettos Best Schools Awards vision is to showcase the beating
pulse of educational innovation and the new ideas that are driving the best independent schools
forward in an ever-changing and demanding world. With our panellists’ experienced insight and
focus on quality, we’re interested in schools with a more intuitive and modern approach to
schooling.
All entries will be judged by a panel of 8 vastly experienced and respected educationalists: Patrick
Derham OBE (Ex-Westminster School), Lucy Elphinstone (Francis Holland School), Mark Semmence
(Repton School), Emma Goldsmith (The Dragon School), Professor Dr. Ger Graus (Kidzania), Stefan
Anderson (Tring Park School for the Performing Arts), Tove Okunniwa CBE (Ex CEO London Sport) and
Chairperson, Hero Brown (Editor-in-Chief, Muddy Stilettos & Muddy Stilettos Best Schools Guide).
