Staff are busy planning in detail for the Christmas Term and we are closely following the rapidly-evolving government guidance from the DfE and Public Health England. We hope that this booklet will reassure our families regarding the comprehensive health and hygiene measures that we shall have in place. Our aim is for your child to have a rich and varied Dragon Education and we are all working very hard to make that happen.
It has been wonderful to have all year groups back at the Dragon for the last weeks of term and the children have quickly adapted to the new routines of ‘bubbles’ and regular hand washing. They have loved being back in School with their friends and teachers. The Virtual Holistic Curriculum, live-streamings and recordings of events have helped teachers and classmates to stay in contact with our boarders virtually, but we are so looking forward to welcoming them back to the Dragon. The Headmaster appeared on this Good Schools Guide film alongside Heads of other leading boarding schools to send a message to that effect.
