The Cherwell girls enjoyed celebrating International Day of Education on Zoom this week.
The event started with our Australian Boarding Assistants sharing memories from their school days growing up. This continued with some of our girls sharing their experiences of education from the ten different countries in North America, Asia, Europe and Africa representing a cosmopolitan and diverse mix of individuals in the House. From sharing tales of school uniform to food and unique academic stories to Sports Days. There were some very informative and light hearted discussions.
Cherwell House hold weekly activities for the senior boarding girls over zoom, including celebrating Winnie the Pooh Day last week as well as evening meditation sessions, led by an old Dragon who is a Boarding Assistant and is currently training to be a yoga instructor.
