We are lucky to be a part of Oxford’s vibrant and dynamic community, and as such places do crop up through out the year and in various year groups. We are here to support you on your journey to becoming a Dragon, and much like the children’s education here – this looks different for everyone. To get a real sense of the spirit of the Dragon come and see us in action – we hold various events for prospective families, and our Admissions team are on hand to answer any questions you have in the meantime.
Open Days and Events
Discover the Dragon – Year 7 & 8 – Wednesday 17th June
Join Emma Goldsmith, Head of the Dragon, and senior members of staff for a special evening exploring life at the Dragon for families considering entry into Years 7 and 8. The evening will include drinks, canapes, and a panel discussion featuring Emma Goldsmith, Alastair Chirnside (Warden of St Edward’s School), Mary-Kate Edwards (Head of Upper School) and education consultant Camilla Smiley, exploring how a Dragon education prepares pupils for senior school and beyond.

Open Mornings – next dates will be shared soon
If you’re keen to know a little more about the Dragon Prep, join us for an Open Morning. You will be guided on a tour by our Year 8 Dragons, your children will have the opportunity to join in Quest activities and there will be talks by our Head Emma Goldsmith and senior members of our teaching teams. It is the best way to experience the energy and breadth of life at the Dragon.
