Dragon School Library is a positive, relaxed environment where students can immerse themselves in other worlds, develop their own interests, and become life-long book lovers along the way.

The Library is open to all students and staff from 8:00 – 18:00 every weekday, and until 14:00 on Saturdays. As well as an extensive fiction and non-fiction library, there are computers, newspapers, and magazines to enjoy. Students may borrow two books at any one time and books are due back after two weeks, but can be renewed if necessary.

The Library runs a number of events and activities throughout the year, including author talks, story writing competitions, and reading challenges.

Reading for pleasure is at the heart of the Dragon School Library. Students and staff are interested and interesting, and it feels like everyone is seeking opportunities to succeed and to have fun doing so. We love the emphasis on fun – at the Dragon you feel that learning is to be enjoyed rather than endured!
