The English as an Additional Language (EAL) department offers one-to-one English language support for pupils at the Dragon for whom English is not their first language. Our teachers provide children with the support they need in order to build their confidence and really thrive at the Dragon. We work closely with individual subject and form tutors to ensure each child can achieve their potential across the curriculum.
An EAL Assessment is carried out before the child starts at the Dragon to determine the child’s needs.
