On completion of the first year of Dragon QUEST we asked our parents to give us some feedback on the programme. Here are some of their responses:

“He enjoyed trying new things and developing interests, alongside school friends.”

“He loved the range of choices, the chance to meet people from outside of the school’s regular teaching community and the chance to do things he would not have been able to do otherwise – like smoking bees, letting a calf suck his finger and getting in the back of a police van!”

“We liked the diverse array of activities and change to normal Saturday morning.”

“The variety, the ability for the children to choose, the HUGE array of activities on offer, the chance to do things that they would never normally get involved with in the normal school week.”

“She enjoys the hands-on experience and likes to share with us at home.”

“He loves going outdoors and exploring. It challenged his abilities and mental bandwidth – he loved the programme a lot.”

“Getting out and about outside of school, seeing new things and being exposed to situations they would not normally see – e.g. a working farm.”
