Dragon Legacy Leaflet - page 7

The Dragon is enormously grateful to those
who choose to make a gift in their Will.
To recognise this generous contribution,
all who indicate an intention to leave a
gift to the Dragon become members of the
Skipper Society. Founded in memory of
the school’s most famous and influential
Headmaster, Skipper Lynam, the Society is
our opportunity to thank you in person and
invite you back to the Dragon.
Members of the society are invited to the
annual Skipper Day and a lunch with the
Headmaster and senior staff of the school.
They also receive invitations to events such
as concerts and drama productions as well
as a lifetime subscription to the magazine
The OD
.
We very much hope you will enjoy being a
member of the Skipper Society.

Recognising Your Gift
Legal advice
We of course advise you to seek professional
advice when creating or updating your Will.
You should consult your solicitor to ensure
that whatever provision you wish to make
is written appropriately so that your wishes
can be carried out. Sample wording and
codicil forms to assist you in this process
can be downloaded from the school website
and are available from the Development
Office at the Dragon.
Adding a wish to an existing Will
If you have already made your Will and
would now like to make a gift to the
Dragon, you can easily do so by adding a
Codicil. This is an additional document
that will be kept with your Will.
Notifying the Dragon
If you have decided to leave a gift to the
Dragon, we would be very grateful to know
of your intention. You can use the form
included in this brochure or can download
one from the school website.
