Visit the Dragon

If you are considering the Dragon for your

child you are warmly encouraged to come and

see the School. Our next open morning is on

Saturday 14 October 2017, which is an event for

those interested in boarding places. This is an

opportunity for families to tour the preparatory

school, see the boarding house with current

Dragon children, meet staff and join a Q&A led

by the Headmaster.

There will be further open mornings on Saturday

3 March 2018 - an event for those interested in

boarding places - and on Saturday 12 May 2018

for those interested in day and boarding places.

For families interested in visiting our Pre-Prep,

there will be an open morning on Friday 17

November 2017.

We also welcome individual visits and family

tours which can be arranged throughout term

time, including Saturday mornings. Tours offer

the opportunity to look around the School with

the Admissions staff and to have a discussion with

the Registrar or the Headmaster.

For further information on the admissions

process, open mornings, bursaries, Armed

Forces and FCO discounts, or if you wish to

arrange an individual tour, please telephone us

Dragon School, Oxford

The Dragon School, Oxford, is an

outstanding day and boarding

school on two sites: the Prep School

(for 8-13 year olds) is situated in

Bardwell Road; the Pre-Prep School

(for 4-7 year olds) is just off the

Woodstock Road in Summertown.

Boarding is an option from age 8 to

13 years.

Parents praise the Dragon’s relaxed atmosphere, the ‘phenomenal, inspirational, committed’ teachers,

the wonderful pastoral care and the respect for family time, with ‘no prep at weekends, no big projects

in the holidays’. ‘A fun, fabulous and magical school,’ says a mother. ‘We are very lucky our children are

there – we’ve sold our house to do it, and it’s the best decision we’ve ever made.’

Tatler Schools Guide, 2017
