The Deputy Head (Social & Emotional Learning)
We see Social and Emotional Learning as the basis for all learning. 21st century education needs to work hard to offer powerful, real-life, enjoyable learning so that pupils can develop both a generic capacity to learn and a love of doing so. The Deputy Head (Social and Emotional Learning) leads this mission within the School so that pupils can develop the intellectual, personal and emotional resources which will enable them to flourish in this changing world.
The Deputy Head (Social and Emotional Learning) leads the Family Links Nurturing Programme within the School and works closely with pupils, staff and parents to maintain and develop an emotionally healthy environment for all. She shares an office in the heart of the School with the Director of Safeguarding: together they ensure that all policies and procedures concerning the wellbeing and safety of members of our community are appropriate and upheld.
