The Headmaster

The Headmaster is fully involved with the pastoral welfare of the children and visits the boarding houses regularly. The Headmaster, whilst not a Tutor, is kept informed through a regular series of meetings with the Deputy Head (Social & Emotional Learning), Director of Safeguarding, Heads of Upper and Middle School, Houseparents and the School Management Committee of any major pastoral issues. Attendance at Pastoral Meetings keep him informed of pastoral policy decisions and other areas of concern or development. The Headmaster is responsible for all pastoral staff appointments in the school.
