This term the new Beekeeping activity has got underway! 
Our six prospective beekeepers have been learning all about bee types, beekeeping equipment and have inspected the site where we will keep the hives (down at the bottom of the field).  Next week we have a talk from Andrew Beer (OD), an experienced beekeeper who is bringing in a hive for us to handle and some honey from his own apiary for us to sample.
