This week the Boarding Action Team collected their Eco Starter Packs. These consisted of compost bins for fruit and vegetable waste, dryer balls for the tumble dryers to reduce the time taken for clothes to dry and saver plugs, devices that enable the remote switching off of appliances that might normally be left on or in stand-by mode.

The Boarding Team has also been keen to reduce packaging and have been in discussion with the Catering Department to see if there are any ways to reduce the use of plastic or excess packaging.
