The planet is now 26 trees better off after a hard-working group of Year 4 children added to a developing piece of woodland on Cumnor Hill this week!

Terrific co-operation from the children made light work of digging holes some surprisingly hard ground (especially given the weather this week!) and lots of fun was had covering the roots with soil and compost. The area of land is managed by a local charity, Cumnor Hurst, which is working with local schools and volunteers to create a community woodland on the outskirts of Oxford. This week’s visit starts the second season of Dragon tree planting in partnership with the charity.
