Geography

The geography syllabus is designed to allow the children to explore aspects of human and physical geography that affect their surroundings locally, nationally and worldwide. They will develop their geographical skills by investigating places and themes through the use of a variety of reference books and resource materials including maps, atlases, globes, information technology and the internet, and videos. We also use the local environment as a focus for fieldwork enquiry.

We are committed to raise awareness of global responsibility. Regular lessons and assemblies are spent focusing upon the implications of global issues e.g. global warming, climate change, recycling, water conservation, biodiversity and ways to affect change.
