The second Dragon Lunch was held at Cibo Restaurant in South Parade on Thursday 26th November. Guests were made very welcome by owner, Matt Lebus and his delightful staff and the lunch itself was both delicious and plentiful.
After lunch Poppy Adams (OD 1985) author of The Behaviour of Moths spoke about writing her first novel and raising a family at the same time. Her story of being in the maternity ward whilst on the phone to her agent discussing a bidding war for her book was worthy of a comedy show. After her fascinating talk which has inspired at least two of those present to start their writing careers, Poppy answered questions and signed copies of her book.
If you have not read The Behaviour of Moths I would strongly suggest you buy a copy for yourself or as a Christmas present. It is a book I found virtually impossible to put down.
